Who helps who in the Arab world?
Just curious, I witnessed and met millionaire Arab royals come to here for vacation. I read the tons of media coverage on Arab wealth, in places like Saudi royal people and their large families, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, very wealthy nations with wealthy people that can contribute and help fellow Arabs in places like Gaza. One million Dollar can make a BIG difference in a place like Gaza or Darfur, a place where people are refugees in their own houses. However, we had people like Prince Alwaleed who was willing to give $ 10 Million after Sept, 11 of 2001. Money that was rejected, shamefully went back home with it when the people who needed it were dying next door.
The question is: Why don’t filthy rich Arabs DON’T help their own POOR people but willing to help others who don’t need their help?.
Generalizing?.. Read my question very carefully. I said, “Arab royal families…” I did not generalize and talked about the entire people.
who said that wealthy ‘Gulfian’ arabic governments does not help poor arabic countries ??
billions, yes billions have been paid to these poor countries but guess what, the money never gets to the PEOPLE, it goes to POLITICIANS in these poor countries !!
